Shutting Up is Really
Important
Or more politely put: realize
the importance of listening! In getting to know
prospects and donors, and learning what motivates
them, you have to actively and sincerely listen.
The other time when silence is critically important
is right after you ask for a gift. The tension
of silence helps prompt a response from the donor.
