Description of Responsibilities:
The Philanthropic Engagement Officer is a mid-level fundraising professional who blends strategic donor engagement with innovative, data-driven approaches to philanthropy. This role involves a dynamic partnership with RACF’s Marketing and Communications team to expand donor identification and engagement, leveraging cutting-edge strategies across social media, online solicitations, and direct mail campaigns. The Philanthropic Engagement Officer works closely with fundholders to deepen relationships, support their philanthropy through exceptional customer service, and strategically engage them around RACF’s priorities for community betterment. This role leverages the strength of best practices in fund management, donor engagement, and staff expertise to ensure a seamless and impactful donor experience. Education:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.

Experience/Personal Qualifications:
Proven ability to collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop and execute integrated donor engagement strategies; Experience in annual fund, digital solicitation, and donor relations is strongly preferred; Culturally responsive to specific identities such as race, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, age etc.; Proficiency with CRM systems and data analytics tools, along with strong written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling donor-facing content; Creative thinker with a passion for pushing boundaries and exploring innovative approaches to donor engagement; and Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
