Description of Responsibilities:
This role will help achieve the goal of building grants capacity with grassroots, small, and mid-sized organizations ($5M or less annual budget), with an end goal of more federal, state and out-of-town foundation grant dollars flowing to Greater Rochester area nonprofits, individually and in collaboration with other organizations. The Senior Manager of Grant Support is a community change agent and plays a critical role on our diverse team, supporting nonprofits and community coalitions with grants capacity building, with the following items as requirements for success:
- Conduct research on available grant and RFP opportunities with federal and state sources
- Coordinate collaboration opportunities between nonprofits and other relevant stakeholders
- Assist with assessing readiness of organizations and collaborations for grant and RFP opportunities
- Distribute opportunities to appropriate freelance grant writers
- Assist with coordination of grant reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of this initiative and Causewave’s mission.
