Description of Responsibilities: Our Rochester based not-for-profit youth organization has an immediate opening for a full-time development Director. This position will be a part of a 4-person development & marketing team and will be primarily responsible for execution of our annual giving campaign and grant writing, along with some special events, constituent cultivation and other fundraising initiatives. Successful applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree, understanding of estate and major giving options, demonstrated success in fundraising and have at least three years of experience working within a not-for-profit organization. Experience/Personal Qualifications:

• Passion for leadership development programs in youth
• Minimum 3 years' experience in fund development required
• Dynamic, self-driven individual with a track record of fundraising success and direct asks
• Solid background in all facets of annual campaign fundraising and grant writing
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in all circumstances
• Ability to work with and cultivate a diverse team of volunteers
• Experience working with CRM software (Blackbaud CRM), and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, management and networking skills
