Description of Responsibilities: With considerable latitude and room for independent judgment, develops and implements an entire strategic plan and budget for Young Alumni fundraising as part of the Class Affinity team in Annual Giving Programs (AGP), in direct support of our institutional priority to increase alumni participation in giving. While keeping current with trends in the industry oversees engagement partnership with Alumni Relations, social media, email outreach, texting platform, and crowdfunding programs to meet the overall development plan. Serves as a main contact point for young alumni fundraising initiatives, including partnership with the Senior Gift effort, and assists with developing strategies for the 5th and 10th Reunion classes. To maintain continuity across units, will partner with Eastman School of Music Advancement staff to coordinate student and young alumni solicitation strategies and marketing efforts.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree, as well as 3 years of professional experience preferably with marketing and/or fundraising experience.

Experience/Personal Qualifications: Familiarity with InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe creative products as well as iModules desired. Candidate must be well organized, possess excellent communication and analytical skills and follow through with tasks, and writing ability, as well as the ability to work within a complex organization. Must also have the ability to take initiative on projects and stay updated on ever-changing technology, best practices in Advancement among peers and through CASE, the professional Advancement organization, and be aware of the best marketing strategies for this constituency.
