EXPLORE YOU: What Is Your Fundraising Type?

Program Description

We have all heard of Myers-Briggs and DiSC personality assessments and even newer tools like Big 5 and JobFit. In our profession, we often analyze the personality traits and intrinsic motivations of our donors. Do we ever take the opportunity to look inside and learn more about what makes us tick as fundraisers? What is your fundraising style? What motivates you?

This webinar will appeal to professional fundraisers of all experience levels -- you will learn how to better manage yourself, manage up (your supervisor, Board members and community volunteers) and manage direct reports. This webinar also identifies the primary “types” of development officers/external relationship managers along with hybrids and sub-type combinations. The development profession isn’t the same as direct sales.

Learn how to enhance your personal style and modify your approach to achieve better outcomes when you partner with donors and colleagues. Ultimately, this information will help your coworkers with more satisfying experiences as front-line ambassadors for the non-profits we serve. This webinar identifies the primary “types” of development officers/external relationship managers along with hybrids and sub-type combinations.

We will help you find out if you are a:

  • Maverick
  • Salesperson
  • Standard Bearer
  • Socializer
  • Methodical
