Overview
Community-Centric Fundraising is a movement with th
e goal of transforming our practice of nonprofit development and philanthro
py by grounding it in equity and social justice. It was founded by a group
of Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) fundraisers in Seattle wh
o, in their lived experience, saw the many ways that those who work in this
profession are harmed.
In this two part discussion we're review the ten Community-Centric Fundraising Principles. Part two will go over 6-10.
