Program Overview:
Middle. Middle age. Middle seat on the plane. Middle child. The word "middle" has developed a negative connotation. Even in fundraising, "middle donors" are often overlooked by fundraisers focused on feeding the funnel with lower-level annual gifts and major gifts at the other end. Yet, mid-level giving programs are a proven strategy of identifying, engaging, and upgrading donors up the funnel to become major and planned giving donors in the future. This session explores how to build a mid-level fundraising strategy that focuses on increasing donor retention and upgrading annual gifts from first-time lower-level gifts to major and deferred investments and how to create greater engagement with your current donors so they are inspired to increase their giving.
